walk around the area and see the birds of the “Paramos”

Cotopaxi National Park is conveniently accessible from Quito, Ecuador’s capital, making it an ideal destination for day trips or extended explorations. The park is open year-round, but the best time to visit is during the dry season, from June to September, when the skies are clearest.

It is better to star the tour at 07:00 

We can have breakfast in a cozy coffe place at the Entrance of the National Park 

with an amazing view of the Cotopaxi Volcano when the enviroment is clear.

On our tour we arrive at the Limpiopungo Lagoon where we take a walk around them, and if the weather is clear we can bring the car closer so that we can better admire the majesty of the Cotopaxi Volcano. If you would like to get to the first refuge of Cotopaxi, you have to rent vans that go to the base, since the road is not suitable for cars or small cars.
